Steve Van Zandt, the poor guy, doesn’t get to play enough as it is with me hogging a lot of the solos. Steve has always been a fabulous guitarist. Back from the day when we were both teenagers together, he led his band and played lead and was always a hot guitar player. Help us to share this great article. Yeah, my son likes a lot of guitar bands. He gave me something the other day which was really good. He’ll burn a CD for me full of things that he has, so he’s a pretty good call if I want to check some of that stuff out… The other two aren’t quite into that yet. Help us to share this great article. I looked at myself, and I just said, well, you know, I can sing but I’m not the greatest singer in the world. I can play guitar very well, but I’m not the greatest guitar player in the world… And so I said, well, if I’m going to project an individuality, it’s going to have to be in my writing. Everybody would grab a guitar and listen to somebody else and call themselves a folk singer. When they didn’t know no more songs, they’d run out of them. Help us to share this great article. Your friends will appreciate it! 0share Facebook0 Twitter0 Pinterest0 LinkedIn0 Flipboard Tumblr0 Mix

,,, all around it would have to be Eddie Cochran, because it wasn’t just music with him; it was his guitar playing, his look, his singing, I’d say that, all things considered, he’s probably my favorite “cat” of all time Help us to share this great article. I didn’t want to take the guitar solos down note-for-note, but more or less use them as a map, and keep all the hooks from the guitar playing, and let myself come through. My guitar only has five strings ’cause the top one broke and I decided not to put it back on: when I play chords I only play bar chords, and the top one always used to cut me there. The Marshall guitar amplifier doesn’t just get louder when you turn it up. It distorts the sound to produce a whole range of new harmonics, effectively turning a plucked string instrument into a bowed one. A responsible designer might try to overcome this limitation – probably the engineers at Marshall tried, too. But that sound became the sound of, among others, Jimi Hendrix. That sound is called electric guitar. Help us to share this great article. Your friends will appreciate it! 0share Facebook0 Twitter0 Pinterest0 LinkedIn0 Flipboard Tumblr0 Mix
